API

API overview

The Poplex TCG API gives business customers read-only access to a Pokémon Trading Card Game catalog in English and Japanese. It is in preview.

What you get

Sets, cards and printings, with collector numbers, rarities and regulation marks.
An artist directory: list and search artists and list every printing by one artist.
Japanese cards with English names, each labelled with how the name was established.
Language equivalents: the English printing of a Japanese card, and the reverse.
Finishes and editions of each printing, and the ID in an external catalog where one exists.
Rarity groups that make rarities comparable across languages.
Image links on plans that include them, in fixed WebP sizes (240, 480 and 720 px wide) with an average colour for loading tiles.

Base address https://api.poplextcg.com/v1, JSON over HTTPS, read only.
API keys in the Authorization header.
Errors use the problem details format (application/problem+json, RFC 9457) with a stable code and a requestId.
Lists page with opaque cursors; responses carry an ETag.
