Images and Data Use

Poplex sells access to a hosted API and its included data and delivery features. An image feature may be part of a paid plan, but a subscription is not a sale of card artwork or a license to Pokémon intellectual property. The Terms and Conditions control this explanation; it does not enlarge the rights they grant.

Building your product

You may use permitted Catalog Data in your own applications, websites, business tools and customer interfaces, with reasonable caching under your plan. A private backend powering your own application is permitted. Selling access to your own application is different from repackaging Poplex as a public data feed. Do not resell our feed, distribute bulk catalog dumps or operate a substitute public API without a separate signed agreement. Separate licenses continue to govern material they cover, and independently obtained facts remain yours to use.

Card image access

An image URL is an identifier and delivery location, not evidence of a copyright license. Images help identify particular cards. You may request the image resources included in your plan, but any display, download, cache or self-hosting must have its own lawful basis. Poplex's API access permission does not grant rights in the depicted artwork, card design, text or marks. Artist credits, attribution, commercial API access and the availability of an image on a third-party server do not replace permission where permission is needed.

Do not rely on a Poplex subscription to create standalone image packs, bulk image mirrors, merchandise, counterfeit cards, artwork resale, cropped artwork products or AI training datasets. Preserve existing rights notices and card context when lawfully displaying an image. Do not suggest that Poplex or a game publisher has endorsed your product. You may use Catalog Data without displaying Images.

Availability and rights notices

We can correct, restrict or withdraw images and image URLs. Build a missing-image fallback. If we notify you that content has been withdrawn, stop requesting and serving it and remove active cached copies promptly, ordinarily within 72 hours or any shorter required period. A material withdrawal of paid functionality is covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. We do not describe this process as a guarantee of rights clearance or of statutory safe-harbor protection.

Rights complaints: support@poplextcg.com, subject "Rights complaint." Include the work, exact URLs or identifiers, your claimed rights and authority, contact information and requested action. The Terms and Conditions describe the additional statements for a copyright removal notice. We assess ownership and authority; a game publisher is not the only possible rights owner. We may restrict material during review and comply with binding legal orders.

Attribution and independence

Pokémon and the card artwork belong to their respective rights owners. Poplex is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc. or GAME FREAK.
